Whats so great about Facebook ads?
Facebook has lots of features that help businesses like you to find your customer easily, apart from all the obvious options like, demographic targeting, age, sex, location, and behaviour. Today I’m going to give you my 3 favourite features of Facebook Ads.
- Email Lists: Lets say you have done all the work collecting emails, and your sending out regular content every week. You can take this list of emails and upload it to Facebook. Facebook will analyze the list, find the people on it that have a Facebook account, and create a custom audience for you to show your adds. Why is this good? This allows you to talk to a warm audience of people who have already heard of your product or service, so they are more likely to be receptive to your ads.
- Web Visitors: Lets say you have a steady flow of visitors to your website every month. Facebook allows you to tag these visitors, and create a custom audience to show ads to. Again they are a warm audience, that is more likely to be receptive to your ads. This is known as remarketing. Facebook then allow you to go one-step further and apply demographic targeting to this custom audience list.
- Friends of Fans– Fans are people who have liked your page so they have expressed an interest in your product or service. Facebook will allow you to target your fan’s friends. This is good because, if your fans have an interest in your product, there is a high chance their friends will too. If you can target the friends of the people who have liked your page, you are reaching out to a new audience, who may or may not of heard of you. They are not a completely cold audience, as they are more likely to be interested in your product because their friends are. You can again, combine this with some demographic targeting, and there is a high chance you will get a return on your ad spend
